Our Story

Welcome to our shop, IzzyLee's. My name is Sarah, and my sister is Christine. We decided to come together to create baby products in memory of my first daughter Isabelle Lee. She was born still on July 21, 2018 when I was 38 weeks pregnant. In creating our products, we wanted to not only remember Izzy, but also to bring awareness to stillbirth and pregnancy loss. These topics have gone under the radar over the years with little discussion or research. Every year 24,000 babies are stillborn in the United States, which translates to one in 160 births. These percentages have not improved significantly in the past 30 years. Awareness and changes in medical care need to take place in order to bring these numbers down.

Navigating the loneliness and difficulty that accompany stillbirth is a lifelong process and affects entire families. We would like to create a community with resources for parents and family members who are going through this trauma and bring more awareness to the topic. We picked charities that help fund stillbirth and pregnancy loss research, and bereavement centers in hospitals that support families immediately following a loss. We will be giving back a percentage of our profits to these organizations.

Since losing Izzy, we have had two daughters; Annabelle "Annie" and Maisie. They adore playing with their cousins Madelyn, George, Charlie and Emma. We want to celebrate the joy and appreciation we have now more than ever in bringing a new baby home from the hospital. We have thoughtfully created GOTS certified organic cotton baby blankets, hats, bibs and burp cloths with timeless designs that incorporate our New England roots. We are very proud to say that our products are designed, cut and sewn here in New England. We hope our products help make every moment of that special (and fleeting) time with your newborn memorable including adorable pictures you can cherish for a lifetime.
